WidgetBucks

Early this October, a new monetization program for web sites and blogs launched — WidgetBucks. Basically, widget bucks is both a referral program and a PPC tool. Just like many other monetization widgets, it’s easy to acquire and install. All you need to do is go to their web site, sign-up, tweak the visual look of your widget and then install the code in your blog or web site and you’re good to go. They’re currently offering a promotional free $25 sign-up bonus for now though how long this will go on, I’m not sure.

When you sign-up as a publisher for WidgetBucks, you will be required to input personal information in your profile section wherein which you can choose how to receive your money — either via check or via PayPal. Minimum payout is $50 which isn’t too bad. I’ve heard news that some people already earned around $500 using WidgetBucks for only one month. Using the customization section, you can create and customize widgets. There are currently five WidgetBucks configuration to choose from. You can then change the colors as well as choose the topic of the ads which will be served on your widget. You can then copy the code on your blog or web site. They even present specific instructions for TypePad, WordPress and Blogger blogs. The number of widget you can place on your blog has no limit so you can go paste it every page if you want to.

You can earn from WidgetBucks via their PPC method wherein each click earns you commission and through their referral scheme. When WidgetBucks launched, their referral scheme was a payout of $5 per referred customer. However, because of Darren Rowse’s suggestion, WidgetBucks changed their referral earning scheme into 10% of the referral’s earnings which means as internet marketers, you could get the ball rolling as long as you find the right people to sign up under you.
