BlogRush: How it Works and How to Utilize It
Everyone’s talking about it in the last few days — positively or otherwise. This is the newest widget for blogs by Internet marketing guru, John Reese. Despite not doing any heavy marketing for the widget, as John claims, merely his name is enough to cause ripples across the World Wide Web.
Blogrush (see picture above) is the newest widget for blog marketing. It’s developed as a tool to increase your blog page views. It’s still in its early stages, seeing as only a few days have elapsed since its release, but it’s already, in my own humble opinion, taken the internet by storm.
Here are the basics of Blogrush:
1. Basically, it’s a tool which displays links to your blog posts on related blogs in exchange for using their widget.
2. Your page views are converted into credits which would be used to send links to your blog posts to blogrush widgets on other blogs. The beauty of it is you’d have to choose your niche when you sign up so your links would show up in relevant web sites.
3. The tab at the bottom of the widget contains your referral link. The referral tier is up to the tenth level. Meaning, the page views of anyone who signs up from your link and anyone who signs up from theirs (up to the tenth level) would be credited to you.
4. You could block any unwanted elements in your widget using keywords or site URLs.
Not bad, eh? However, click-through is not guaranteed. It’s still up to you whether you catch people’s attention.
Here are a few tips:
1. Blog about something timely.
2. Create killer headlines. Grab attention — you want people to click on your link, don’t you?
3. Make full use of your referral link. Tell all your friends about it, don’t be shy. The more referrals you get, the more you get linked.
With that said, hope you get to put BlogRush to good use and boost your traffic. Good luck!
